The financial services enterprise should appropriately handle the matter within 30 days of the day the complaint is received and inform the consumer of the disposition.

    When can I apply to the FOI for ombudsman service?
    A

    If the financial consumer does not accept the resolution or the financial services enterprise fails to handle the complaint before the time limit, the consumer may, within 60 days of either he/she receives notification of the resolution or the day the time limit expires, apply to the FOI for ombudsman service.
