The Taiwan Financial Ombudsman Institution (FOI) Board of Directors convened and elected Mr. Kuan-Chun Johnny Chang as the Ombudsman Committee Chair and the President.

He has extensive research experience in insurance law, regulation of the financial market and alternative risk transfer. The key positions he had previously held include: Director and Secretary General of the Taiwan Insurance Law Association, and the Committee member of Investment-Linked Insurance Products Review Committee, Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC).

For the future development of FOI, the new Ombudsman Committee Chair indicated that he will enhance the effectiveness of FOI by building on the foundation that the former Chair had established.
